I have started a new video series on my YouTube Channel. For now, I am calling it “Destination Dreaming” the title of the series may change, but for now I am calling it that because of COVID 19, with the world shut down, we can’t travel and see the world as we would like to do, but it is so important to dream of travel and keep planning on where we want to go. I think that dreaming and planning your travels is super important!
I also do a weekly Cruise Chat series and if you want to see that, please click here to see all the cruise lines I meet with weekly.

This week I met with 2 representatives from Grenada, I REALLY enjoyed learning all about what they have to offer, and I was really pleasantly surprised how much there is to do there. It is a true paradise! Something for everyone!

Here is the Video for you to see.

And here are the slides if we went a little too fast for you.

Grenada is not in the hurricane belt so you can safely travel to Grenada all year round.

Grenada is made up of 3 islands. the main island and 2 sister islands all with a unique feeling and landscape. Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

Carriacou is well known for its snoring and diving areas. If you have your PADI and enjoy diving you have to go to Grenada! Carriacou’s life is centred around shipbuilding and they hold an annual Regatta there. This is a beautiful destination to go to.

Petite Martinique is rich in history, the residents are a close-knit community, primarily a fishing community, they are rich in boat building and they also have a Regatta every year. The population is about 1000 people.

If you are looking for a destination wedding, you can get a marriage licence in 24 hours and even have an underwater wedding! How iconic would that be? WOW!

There is something for everyone in the 3 areas of Grenada. If you are looking for adventure then you can go river tubing, or you can go kayaking through the mangroves. You can even rent some ATV’s and go through the mud!

I mentioned the Regatta’s above, but there is more than just that to do in the water. You can go out the sailboats and I was told they will even let you take the helm and steer for a bit!

Diving is a HUGE highlight here, they have many sunken ships and reefs for you to explore. When I was chatting with my husband about what I learned today, he expressed an interest in getting his divers certification and explore the islands.
